Central NWC Case (1991-1997): " Round Rattle (yedun). Round rattles similar to northern shamans' rattles are shaken by the attendants of the Hamatsa dancers to help tame them of their wildness. Raven rattles are chief's rattles used from Vancouver Island to Southeast Alaska. Headdress dancers use them in the Tlasula."
