"The kapote is commonly found in the Pangasinan or the Batanes region located in the northernmost island of the Philippines. It can also be found in Ifugao. Farmers from Batanes typically wear kapote like this one because it is an area that rains a lot and is also located outside of the urban area, where a lot of people use rain jackets made in China. "
