S'abadeb-Seattle Art Museum Jennie Kanim was an accomplished maker of cedar root baskets. Here, the main design element is mountains and there is a chain of rectangles on the rim. Jennie was the wife of Chief Jerry Kanim, a Snoqualmie traditionalist who created artworks for sale to pay for legal fees in order to secure compensation for land claims.
