Arhat Pindolabharadvaja. This is a modern painting done with poster paint, with the arhat Pindolabharadvaja at the center. It probably originates from the Sakya lineage, as the figure at the top is a Sakya lama, flanked by two forms of the Buddha. On either side are three images of white Tara, the form of the widely venerated female bodhisattva who confer longevity. The green form of Tara, who protects against dangers, is portrayed in the large thangka near the gallery entrance. At the bottom is Virudhaka, guardian of the south.
