"They use these shaptaki’s mostly on the man’s side to trade because they would put beautiful blankets inside the shaptaki. If they send a shaptaki with the expensive blanket to trade with the bride’s people, the bride’s people would send it back, maybe with a beaded bag or ladies moccasins or something in there."
