On Matireya's left are protector Hayagiriva; arhats Kanakavatsa, Hva-sang, Angaja, and Abhed; and a protector. Below Maitreya are guardians of the north and west. At the bottom right is the person who consecrated the painting, holding a tray in a mandala design.
