Arhat Kanakavatsa. The style of this painting, with the highly elaborated trees and rocks in the landscape, identifies it as being from Eastern Tibet, where Chinese influence has always been greater. Amitayus, the Buddha of infinite life, is in the upper left hand corner, and an attendant is at lower right.
