"The lives who made this ngtau [years ago] are not static as they live on in these pieces. The meaning of the ngtau is connected to the lives, the love, and the tenderness of making and gifting these pieces to others. I want visitors to know that the people and culture that created these ngtau are alive and well today in our communities. People are thriving in the U.S. just as they always have been in their original homes back in the islands."
