Exhibit Label     Hydaburg Totem Park was established between 1938 and 1941 as part of the Indian Civilian Conservation Corps project that created totem parks throughout Southeast Alaska. Many old poles from Klinkwan and Howkan were brought to Hydaburg, and several were replicated for the park. John Wallace was the head carver for this project.
