The shape of Guam’s seal is a slingstone. It represents Chamorro sense of identity and connection to ancestors in the contemporary world. It also features the Hagatna River, puntan Dos Amantes (story), a tronkon niyok (coconut tree), and a flying proa (outrigger canoe).
