Exhibit Label     The term Kaigani Haida is used to distinguish the Haida people living in Alaska’s Alexander Archipelago from the Haida people residing in British Columbia’s Queen Charlotte Islands. Before the 1900's, the Haida in Southeast Alaska lived in five main villages: Howkan and Klinquan near Cordova Bay, Koianglas on Dall Island, Sukwan on the north end of Sukwan Island, and Kasaan.
