Continue your exploration of northwest biodiversity in our Experience Alcove rainforest! Piece together a slime puzzle to learn about local slugs, search the forest for northwest snails, invent a new insect species at our build-a-bug station, and join the SLIME Pacific Northwest community science project!
Paleontology Experience Alcove

A cubic foot of sediment can contain hundreds of clues about past life! Use a digital microscope to zoom in on soil from the Hell Creek site, show off your scientific illustration skills, and create your own marine fossil to take home!
