Wellness Class: Introduction to Qi Gong

Join us for an introduction to a moving meditation called Qi Gong. Participants will learn a practice called T’ai Chi Chih, which is a series of 19 movements and one closing posture. Benefits of Qi Gong include improved balance, increased energy, and greater mental clarity.
This class series meets four times. You can register for any combination of dates you'd like to attend: September 25, October 2, October 9, and October 16, 2026, 12–1 p.m. Registration links are available at the bottom of this page.
About the Instructor
Maureen English has been a Qi Gong practitioner since 2008. She is certified in a form called T’ai Chi Chih and have been teaching since 2011. Maureen grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and is currently a Sorority House Director at Alpha Chi Omega on Greek Row at the University of Washington.
