Alfred Charles Jr. (Lower Elwha Klallam) will work on and display finished wood carvings and wood carving tools, as well as past prints. He will also share sterling silver hand engraved jewelry, including layout plans for his jewelry pieces that will be featured in the upcoming Woven in Wool fashion show Weaving into the Future.
About the Artist
Wenanua Al Charles, Jr. (Lower Elwha Klallam) Advisor and contributor to Woven in Wool. Married to teeweewas Tillie Jones. In 2000, he retired from fishing to work exclusively on his artwork and works in wood, precious metals, paint, design, and sculpture. His creations include jewelry, totems, masks, prints, and paddles.
