Prairie Chicken: This is the bird that the popular Plateau "chicken dance" is based on.
Dog: Dogs were a common companion among Plateau tribes.
Frog: The frog images are found on old Wasco baskets. They symbolize rain, which is important in the semi-arid Plateau region.
