Ron Eng has been a collections manager for the Paleontology & Geology Department at the Burke Museum since 1991. Ron has worked in the Burke Museum for over 25 years. Prior to being at the Burke, he was the Curatorial Associate in the Department of Invertebrate Paleontology of the Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University. Ron's first museum position was in the Division of Invertebrate Zoology, Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University.
As the collections manager, Ron ensures that the specimens in the Paleontology & Geology Department are preserved and accessible for scientific study, exhibition or other educational use. This includes the many tasks required to maintain intellectual control of the department’s holdings.
Ron's interests include evolutionary biology, evolution and ecology of marine invertebrates, marine invertebrate systematics, marine ecology, biological oceanography and technical photography.
