Burke Camps — VIP camper access to Burke galleries 

Join us this July and August for exclusive Monday gallery access as we transform the museum into a giant play space just for Burke Camp participants. Registration will open May 15. 

Due to the popularity of these offerings, registration is limited to one camp per camper.

 

Dino Trackers

Students entering Grades 2–3 in the 2023/24 school year

Did you know the Burke is home to "Suciasaurus," the only dinosaur fossil found in Washington state?  

Dino Trackers campers will learn from Burke educators and paleontologists as they get a closer look at fossils like "Suciasaurus" and more in the Burke paleontology collections. Participants will investigate dig pits, rock out at a dino dance party, make crafts, and more. This camp is offered on two dates. 

Cost: $100 (Burke members: $90) Financial assistance available

Dates: Monday, July 29, 2024 OR Monday, August 5, 2024 

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (check in 8:45–9:15 a.m., check out 2:15-2:45 p.m.) 

Aftercare: 2:30–4:00 p.m. ($30)
