IKIP PLECOPTERA REPORT

RESULTS TO DATE.-The taxonomic diversity of the IKIP plecopteran specimens identified to date consists of 21 species belonging to 15 genera in 6 families. All of these specimen records, complete with corresponding locality data, are on-line and fully searchable (see IKIP Databases). The taxonomists who have examined this material are listed below:

  • KRAFT, Gerald (Department of Biology, Western Washington University, Bellingham, Washington, USA). Material examined: various plecopteran taxa from the 1994 expedition (U.S.A. team's collections).
  • TESLENKO, Valentina (Institute of Biology and Pedology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok, Russia). Material examined: all plecopteran taxa from the 1994-1996 expeditions (Russian, and selected U.S.A., team's collections).

RESEARCH PRODUCTS.-A checklist of all plecopteran generic and species identifications currently in the IKIP Database are available for each family. To view a corresponding check-list, click on the family name in the below classification (following Stark et al., 1986; see Classification References).
