IKIP ODONATA REPORT

RESULTS TO DATE.-The taxonomic diversity of the IKIP odonatan specimens identified to date consists of 18 species belonging to 13 genera in 7 families. Results in press on this material include 6 new archipelago, and 7 new island, records representing 6 species (see New Odonata Records). All of these specimen records, complete with corresponding locality data, are on-line and fully searchable (see IKIP Databases). The taxonomist who has examined this material is listed below:

  • PAULSON, Dennis (Slater Museum of Natural History, University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington, U.S.A.). Material examined: all odonatan taxa from the 1994-1996 expeditions (U.S.A. team's collections).

RESEARCH PRODUCTS.-A checklist of all odonatan generic and species identifications currently in the IKIP Database are available for each family. To view a corresponding check-list, click on the family name in the below classification (following Borror et al.; see Classification References).
