Family GERRIDAE (Hemiptera)

The taxonomic diversity of the IKIP Gerridae holdings currently consists of four species in three genera. A check-list of these taxa, arranged alphabetically, is provided below and the islands on which they were collected, from south to north, is given in brackets (the islands are designated by two-letter Island Codes). All determinations were made by Dr. Shyuji Tachikawa (see IKIP HEMIPTERA REPORT).
