IKIP EPHEMEROPTERA REPORT

RESULTS TO DATE.-The taxonomic diversity of all the IKIP ephemeropteran specimens identified to date consists of 14 species belonging to 9 genera in 5 families. All of these specimen records, complete with corresponding locality data, are on-line and fully searchable (see IKIP Databases). The taxonomists who have examined this material are listed below:

  • ISHIKAWA, Shinichi (Water Environment Division, Environment Research Center of Kanagawa, Kanagawa, Japan). Material examined: all ephemeropteran taxa from the 1994 expedition (U.S.A. team's collections).
  • TIUNOVA, Tatyana (Institute of Biology and Pedology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Valdivostok, Russia). Material examined: all ephemeropteran taxa from the 1995 expedition.

RESEARCH PRODUCTS.-A checklist of all the ephemeropteran generic and species identifications currently in the IKIP Database is given below for each family.
