1 - contemporary dry land (continent and islands); 2 - inner basins of the beginning of the quaternary period at the site of the deepest portions of contemporary marginal seas; 3 - flat areas of the bottom of contemporary marginal seas which were parts of the dry land at the beginning of the quaternary period; 4 - boundary of the dry land at the beginning of the quaternary period.
