Morning...

A typical collecting day starts at 7:00 am. Members of the expedition crawl out of their cabins to enjoy non-traditional breakfasts, which may include fish cold cuts and salted salmon eggs.

Then, field-ready and equiped for collecting, we climb down into a small wooden boat and head for shore.
