A Special Basket: Described by Pat Courtney Gold

Earth and Sky Lines: Most Wasco baskets have an earth line at the bottom and a sky line at the top. They are usually lines circling the basket. This basket is different; the earth line at the bottom includes a green yarn, to represent the growth of new life.
Floral Images: These are inspired by cornhusk baskets, and are made to honor John's work as a botanist and his nurturing of plant life.
