Roadside sweepings dump; graded, in fine gravelly wash with Eragrostis minor, Panicum capillare, Conyza canadensis, Chamaesyce maculata. Tufted annual, multi-stemmed from base, leaf sheaths with apical hairs. This species is finer, smaller, has fewer spikelets per inflorescent branch, has hairs on sheath collars, and spikelets are on longer pedicels than plants of Eragrostis multicaulis, which also grew at this site. A few patches seen at the dump site. Same population as Lomer 6324. Phenology: Fruits. Origin: Introduced.
