Join artist in residence Stewart Wong (Kanaka Maoli, Chinese, and Russian) in the Artist Studio. He will be carving ‘Ohe kapala (bamboo stamps) and I’e kuku (square mallet) and beat Mo’omo’o (bast fibers). In addition to carving and pounding fibers, Stewart will also test natural dyes and ohe kapala printing on kapa.
