I love going out well before sunrise and I often stay after sunset. The atmosphere of the light changes to a blue mood. I purposely keep that blue colorcast that is recorded on film or on the digital sensor. While in new digital cameras the white balance could be set to automatic or overcast which eliminates some of the blue I purposely keep the setting in regular sunlight, the constant 5500 Kelvin. It therefore records the natural bluish light that dominates before and after sunset
