The Owl and the Woodpecker Opening Day

Come to the opening day of the new Burke Museum exhibit, The Owl and the Woodpecker, featuring photographs by Seattle photographer and author Paul Bannick. Attend talks and tours led by Bannick. Click here for a schedule of events.

The opening day event is included with museum admission and is free to Burke members.

Birds at the Burke
Sunday, April 17, 2011
10 am – 3 pm


Seattle Audubon, Puget Sound Bird Observatory, and Audubon Washington join the Ornithology Division of the Burke Museum to present a day devoted to the birds of Washington State. Whether your interest in birds is only just stirring or fully in bloom, you'll find something to enjoy in this wonderful line up. Families can take advantage of special activities for kids, and adults will enjoy talks and presentations by some of the region's most renowned bird experts. Click here for more information.
