Family CARABIDAE (Coleoptera)

The taxonomic diversity of the IKIP Carabidae holdings currently consists of 27 species in 13 genera. A check-list of these taxa, arranged alphabetically, is provided below and the islands on which they were collected, from south to north, is given in brackets (the islands are designated by two-letter Island Codes). All determinations were made by either Dr. David Kavanaugh, Dr. Obydov, or Dr. Saldaitis (see IKIP COLEOPTERA REPORT).
