FIELD EXPERIENCE:

    Two field seasons, 1990 and 1991, collecting freshwater and terrestrial invertebrates in West Java (Bogor and Cibodas) and Sumatra (Padang and vicinity); numerous collecting trips throughout northern Japan since 1979.

    Since 1973, 47 scientific publications on the taxonomy, phylogeny, distribution, ecology, reproductive biology, and food habits of insects and freshwater and terrestrial mollusks.
