Diagnostic Features:
Ovate nutlet borned at the base of an obovate, slightly asymmetrical winglike bract. Bract has toothed margin with 5-6 veins running longitudinally from the nutlet to the teeth at the distal end of the bract. Primary veins branch into smaller vein orders within the bract.
