Exhibit LabelOnly women weave the woolen cloth used to make skirts and fringed capes. A weaver sets her backstrap loom anywhere she can find reasonably even ground, pegging down one end of the warp threads and supporting the loom with a strap around her waist.
It takes a full day for a skilled weaver to make two cloth strips; a cape requires eight of them.
