The Burke Museum is now offering special gallery activities every weekend! Every month, explore a different natural or cultural theme at the Burke, from dinosaurs to toys and games. This month, discover masks and puppets from around the world. Weekend activities include:
Special touch tables with real objects from the Burke Collections
Make a dragon shadow puppet and try it out on our shadow puppet screen!
Crafts for you to make with your family and take home
Saturdays at 1 pm: Enjoy the best of the Burke with guided exhibit tours
And, one Saturday per month, experience Collection Tours at 11 am and 1 pm. This month, on October 27, learn about Northwest Coast and Yup'ik masks with Robin K. Wright, Burke Curator of Native American Art and Justin McCarthy, Ethnology Collections Outreach Coordinator.
