Weekend Activities are back at the Burke! Every weekend, see and even touch objects not normally on display, and do hands-on activities with crafts to take home. Also take part in guided exhibit tours of the Life and Times of Washington State and Pacific Voices galleries every Saturday at 1 pm.

Look-Alike Bugs: Spot the Differences
In September, explore look-alike insects and arachnids from the Burke's collection, and learn simple ways to spot what makes each unique. Make your own “flip it” bug duo and take part of your experience home.

Themes change monthly, so there's always something new!

Upcoming Weekend Activities:
October: Birds
November: Mammals
December: Fish & Shells
January: Archaeology (Artifacts)
February: Reptiles
March: Fossils (Dinos!)
April: Textiles
May: Plants
June: Geology

*Weekend Activities will not be held on Saturday, September 22 due to Bug Blast.
Select Weekend Activities may be replaced by other large-scale programs and events (Dino Day, Meet the Mammals, Native Arts Day) on select days throughout the year. Please see the Burke’s event website for availability.
