Filmmaker Talk: Threads of Bangladesh

Filmmaker Cathy Stevulak shares behind-the-scenes stories of how a Bengali Muslim woman overcomes hardships and liberates herself and hundreds of destitute women by creating timeless works of textile art.  See clips from the work in progress of the documentary film Threads and samples of the remarkable textiles inspired by the kantha embroidered quilting tradition.
