Join us for a morning with Salish artist Qwalsius Shaun Peterson. He will lead us through demonstrations and discuss what makes Salish art unique and how you can teach your students about the rich artistic history and traditions of Western Washington's Salish people.
Qwalsius Shaun Peterson, a member of the Puyallup Tribe, is known for his beautiful and inspiring public art, museum exhibitions, and gallery works in a variety of media. He has been a leading figure in the research and revival of Salish art and is currently producing video "lessons" for use in classrooms. See more about his work at: www.qwalsius.com
