A Burke Museum Family Day
From the teeniest shrew to the largest whale learn about the amazing world of mammals on Sat., Aug. 5 during a full day of family activities. Meet scientists and discuss the many adaptations that produced the rich diversity of creatures on Earth. See hands-on displays by experts from the Woodland Park Zoo and Northwest Trek and take part in a day brimming with fun:
Meet the Mammals is presented by the Burke Museum Mammalogy Division, in conjunction with Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award Winners, an international touring exhibit from London, featuring 90 large format images of wildlife from around the world. Activities included with museum admission. No live animals will be present.
