Calling for Volunteers

Lead School Tours at the Burke Museum

SeattleThe Burke Museum is recognized as the premier natural and cultural heritage resource in the Pacific Northwest – and now you can get involved. This spring the Burke is seeking volunteers to help lead school tours. Education volunteers are needed on weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Work with elementary and middle school students teaching natural history and culture, guiding hands-on projects, and leading tours through exhibits.

No previous experience necessary. Training dates are Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 – 3:30 pm, Apr. 2 – May 9, 2007. Sign up now to get on the list! For more information, contact the Burke at Burked@u.washington.edu or call 206-616-4415.
