The Private Aleutian World of Tufted Puffins

Join Seattle Audubon for an evening of stories about puffins and the Aleutian Islands in which they live.

John Piatt, a biologist working for the USGS Alaska Science Center in Anchorage will first describe some of his recent work on Tufted Puffins in Alaska, using photographs taken by Ajay Varma, a friend and photographer who accompanied John on a trip to the eastern Aleutians in 2012. Ajay will also share impressions of his first-time visit to this private world of puffins, and then provide an up-close viewing of some large-format landscape prints to interested members of the audience.

Doors open at 6 pm with complimentary refreshments served. Program begins at 7 pm.
