Join Travelers Against Plastic (TAP) for a special screening of TAPPED, a documentary about our use of plastic water bottles and the harm they are doing to our planet, health and society. Click here to watch a preview of the film.
It isn't just an issue about the environment, access to clean drinking water is a basic human right. Now it has become a commodity that is sold for an insane markup, Americans spend more than $15 billion dollars annually on bottled water. This timely documentary is a behind-the-scenes look into the obscure world of the bottled-water industry—a mostly unregulated industry that privatizes our water and sells it back to us. From the production of plastic bottles to the ocean where so many of these bottles end up, this inspiring documentary follows the machinations of the bottled-water industry and the communities affected.
