PCC Tastings: Italian Cuisine with Iole Aguero

Add to Calendar Burke Museum
Sat., Feb. 18, 2012 | 11 am – 1:30 pm

Thanks to support from our sponsor, PCC Natural Markets, the Burke will host tastings throughout the run of the Hungry Planet exhibit.

Emphasizing home-cooked simplicity in the spirit of the grandmothers who created the recipes, Italian cooking is at the heart and soul of many kitchens. Join PCC Cooks instructor’s Iole Aguero Italian love affair where she puts her own special touch on recipes such as the featured sample, Ricotta Cheese.

Tastings are scheduled at 11 am and 1 pm and include recipe demonstrations as well as sample bites of the featured cuisine. Seating is limited.

Iole Aguero delivers the best of Italian cooking with first-hand insight from trips to Italy. She first learned to cook with her mother in her homeland of southern Italy. Now, a connoisseur of fine Italian cooking, she frequents Italy and returns with inspired recipes to share with PCC Natural Markets.
