Thurs., Apr. 18, 2013 | 7 – 9 pm

A picture is worth a thousand words, but the British Columbia mining industry is worth more than $8 billion annually. Wildlife Conservation Society scientist and National Geographic Explorer in Residence, J. Michael Fay presents photos, videos, and stories from the northern reaches of British Columbia, where unchecked claim staking and unprecedented mining activity threaten the future of one of the world’s last great places.

You may want to arrive early to make sure you get a seat. Find out more about the event and follow updates via Facebook here.
