$5 At the Door. Free for Burke Members.

Dr. Milton Love, a research biologist at the Marine Science Institute, University of California, Santa Barbara, has scrutinized the marine fishes of southern California for over 40 years, and published nearly one hundred articles on their ecology and behavior. But his observations go far beyond the purely scientific, extending to the political motivations of rockfish, and humorous advice for would-be marine biologists. At this event, he will wax rhapsodic on his new book Certainly More Than You Want to Know About the Fishes of the Pacific Coast - A Postmodern Experience and give us the low-down on a plethora of species – plus fishy photos and book signings.
