Dino Day

Discover the secret life of dinosaurs at Dino Day! Find out how paleontologists know what dinos looked like, how they lived, and what they ate.

Dino Day activities include:

  • Watch scientists prepare a duck-billed dinosaur fossil
  • Crack open your own fossils with the Stonerose Interpretive Center
  • Talk with Burke paleontologists about their expeditions around the world
  • Uncover a fossil ichthyosaur in the Dino Dig Pit
  • Dress up in dino-gear


Included with museum admission; free for Burke members, who receive exclusive early admission to the museum at 9 am.

Parking is available in several UW lots and is free on Sundays.  

Dino Day is presented in partnership with the Northwest Paleontological Association and the Stonerose Interpretive Center of Republic, WA.
