The Burke Museum Comes to You!

Is your community organization or retirement center looking for a lively presentation about the natural world or Northwest cultural heritage? Burke docents combine their extensive knowledge of the Burke’s collections with real artifacts and scientific specimens for an engaging one hour program at your location.

What is the cost?
$150 - $200
* cost assistance is available

How long is the program?
Programs last about one hour.

What does each presentation include?
Each presentation features real museum specimens and artifacts, lively discussion on the topic, and a question and answer segment.

Can we customize a presentation?
Yes! If you have a topic you are interested in and it isn’t on our list, please ask.

Can we borrow the objects from the presentation?
Yes! One-week Burke Box rentals range $40-$50.

Do you offer guided tours of the Burke Museum?
Yes we do! We welcome groups of 10 or more, any day the museum is open.
Discounted admission is $7/senior adult; $10/adult. Reservations are required.

Consider our Northwest Coast Package:
Includes two visits to your site with presentations on Northwest Coast Potlatch & Native People of the Puget Sound, plus a guided tour at the Burke Museum. Cost varies with the size of the group.
