Three endowments have been established to support the mission of the Bill Holm Center:
- The Bill Holm Center Research Endowment: To fund visiting researchers and artists doing research on Burke Museum collections, public programs, publications, and Web site development.
- The Bill Holm Center Graduate Fellowship Endowment: To fund University of Washington graduate students doing research on Northwest Coast Native art.
- The Bill Holm Center Professorship Endowment: To fund University of Washington faculty and visiting faculty to teach courses and research Northwest Coast Native art. Dr. Robin K. Wright currently holds the Bill Holm Center Endowed Professorship, which supports her research.
Donors are encouraged to consider targeting their gifts to the specific endowment of their choice, or give to all three endowments.
Contributions are encouraged at the following levels:
Benefactor, $50,000 +
Patron, $25,000 – $49,999
Associate, $10,000 – $24,999
Supporter, $5,000 – $9,999
Contributor, $1,000 – $4,999
Friend, $1 – $999
We encourage donors to consider making a five-year pledge. If paying by check, please make checks out to the University of Washington Foundation, indicate on the check that the donation is for the Bill Holm Center Research Endowment, Graduate Fellowship Endowment, or Professorship Endowment, and send to the Burke Museum.
