BURKE MUSEUM RECEIVES NEA GRANT FOR COAST SALISH ART EDUCATION!

We are pleased to announce that the Burke Museum received a $30,000 NEA Grant to enhance our Coast Salish art educational resources. Robin K. Wright, Director of the Bill Holm Center, will be working with the Burke's Education Department, Kathryn Bunn-Marcuse, and Qwalsius - Shaun Peterson, to develop Educational programming and Web site resources during the next 18 months.

Come to the Burke Museum for a special day with Coast Salish artists. Meet Coast Salish artists, see demonstrations, and hear artists talk about their work. Event included with museum admission; free for Burke members.
